FAQ
What people ask us most
Do I need an internet connection to take payments?
No. Kassavera runs on a computer in your shop. Tablets and phones connect over your local Wi-Fi. The internet is only used to email receipts and for the (optional) cloud backup.
Is Kassavera a certified cash register system (SCE/GKS, “black box”)?
Not today. Kassavera is for businesses that aren’t required to use a certified cash register system: retail, bakeries, boutiques, takeaway with no on-site dining… A certified version is planned. Read about the rules.
Does it work with my card terminal?
Yes. You take the card payment on your usual terminal (Worldline, CCV, SumUp, Viva…), then confirm with one tap in Kassavera. Card and cash takings are kept separate in your reports.
Can I bring my products over from my old till?
Yes, if you can export them to Excel or CSV. If not, we can work from your price labels or supplier invoices.
